Lighthouse for Life CEO, Jen Thompson, recently sat down and completed an interview addressing whether or not Lighthouse for Life is currently receiving calls about human trafficking scenarios. Sadly the answer is yes and it’s more than normal.
1) Organization: will be Lighthouse for Life-the link will take you there 2) Title: Be creative & name your Champion Page. Some examples might be- “Jane’s Champion Page”, “Let’s End Trafficking”, “Spread Hope!” 3) URL link: This should be exact same thing as your Title in Step 2. 4) Summary: Why you support L4L & why others should get involved 5) Photo: Please use a personal photo (if possible from an L4L event). 6) Personal Appeal: One liner about your objective for the campaign. A few examples- “Raise awareness about human trafficking & provide restoration to victims” or “Educate our community about human trafficking, empower them with knowledge of warning signs & ways they can protect their loved ones.” 7) Goal: set your personal goal.
Hope these tips help, don’t hesitate to reach out if you have other questions. Once you get to the site you will see ones that have already been created then a BIG + below to add your Champion Page. Create your page now & share with your friends and contacts by email or any social media. The big day is Tuesday May 5th, but we can start now!
