Dr. Tiona Praylow, Medical Director, Three Rivers Midlands Dr. Praylow is a Columbia, SC native where she graduated as valedictorian from W. J. Keenan High School. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Duke University in Durham, NC where she received her Bachelor of Arts in English and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she attended medical school at Duke University School of Medicine. During medical school, she completed her Masters in Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following medical school, she completed her residencies in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. Upon completion of her residency training, Dr. Praylow returned to her hometown to serve as a staff psychiatrist at Three Rivers Behavioral Health. She has also cared for veterans as an inpatient psychiatrist at the Dorn VA Medical Center. To her role as Medical Director at Three Rivers Midlands Campus, Dr. Praylow brings a passion for empowering young people to optimize their God-given potential as well as a commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care. Dr. Praylow is board certified in general psychiatry and board eligible in child and adolescent psychiatry. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.
